The Brazilian Ocean Literacy Alliance (https://maredeciencia.eco.br/acoes/alianca/) is a network of Municipalities, States and Private Institutions and civil society engaged and mobilized in the implementation of local actions aligned with the national and global goals of the Ocean Decade, with a focus on promoting ocean literacy for sustainable development.
Throughout this section, we will have a series of activities to integrate the participating Institutions and co-produce an Alliance plan for 2023:
a) 10 – 12 pm, public session: the participating institutions will present their experiences and activities in Ocean Literacy
b) 2-6 pm: workshop on co-production of knowledge and exchange of experiences and discussion about the initial planning of the Alliance for 2023;
c) 10 am – 6 pm: special workshop for representatives of the Education Departments from all over Brazil to discuss the experiences and opportunities for developing the ‘Blue Curriculum’;
