4pm to 6pm: TABLE 1 – PAST-PRESENT
What does the past and the formation of the planet teach us about the climate? How has human action transformed the world, and the climate? What theories are present in the academy and in the original cosmogonies? Where are we at, what is happening today: extreme weather events that were not there before… What are the socio-environmental consequences of climate change? What is no longer possible to reverse? How does this impact traditional communities?
With Cristine Takuá and Cristiano Chiessi.
Mediation: Vinícius Ribau Mendes.

What is possible to reverse, or curb? How are peoples and communities modifying their livelihoods and incorporating new approaches to deal with these transformations brought about by climate change? What technologies do science and traditional communities have or have developed to act in this future-present?
