The Round Table “From diagnosis to prevention: challenges for fighting against marine litter” is organized by the UNESCO Chair for Ocean Sustainability and the UN Global Compact in Brazil. This meeting aims to promote a dialogue between specialists from the sea, the public administration and the private sector about the current scenario and a starting point for collective and effective actions to solve the problem. In addition to the discussions, the Blue Keepers Diagnosis of the sources of escape and risk of entry of plastic waste into the ocean in Brazil will be launched.
