You are invited to an interactive, hands-on workshop on how communications can create an enabling environment and engage citizens in meeting the Ocean Decade’s challenges, changing humanity’s relationship with the ocean. It is an opportunity for participants to discover the Ocean Decade, its Ocean Literacy Framework, and its Communications strategy and plans, focusing on interactive, small-group exercises on story-telling and behaviour-change within the context of Ocean Decade activities and projects taking place in Brazil.
The workshop is meant for communications professionals as well as scientists and ocean professionals of all fields who may be interested in learning or developing the communications tools and craft needed to enhance their impact at work or within their communities.
