She has experience in the areas of Zoology and Oceanography, with emphasis on biodiversity and interaction between marine organisms and environmental parameters, and fisheries resources. She also teaches Biostatistics, Biology and Ocean Literacy. She coordinated the distance learning course for the Licentiate in Biological Sciences at UFPA, coordinated the course completion works in this modality for a year. She coordinated for four years (Nov / 2012 to Oct / 2016) the Postgraduate course in Aquatic Ecology and Fisheries at UFPA. She was a proponent and coordinated at UFPA the PG course in Biology Teaching on a national network (PROFBIO-UFPA) in its first two years. She has participated/participates in international and national multicenter research projects. She has been General Director of NEAP-UFPA since April / 2019.
